Mira Solutions specializes in producing high quality digital orthophotos for resource management and engineering purposes. Mira Ortho and Mira Mosaic software is at the heart of our program and was developed in-house to maximize accuracy and quality and minimize cost. We use this software in conjunction with a range of photogrammetric software based on scale and accuracy requirements in order to most efficiently produce the final products. Our intimate knowledge of the entire software suite ensures that orthophotos meet our stringent quality requirements. Our orthorectification process corrects image distortions in aerial photography, quickly generating color, CIR or black and white orthophotos. Elevated structures are corrected with specialized routines. Images are mosaicked and color balanced with predefined or interactively defined seamlines based on project specifications. Utilizing the IMU component from Airborne GPS gives us higher accuracy capabilities for orthophotos over rough terrain and water. Our workflow is optimized for processing efficiency, which translates to a quick turnaround time.
